I feel like McCain won the debate, and he did it by constantly (and condescendingly) distorting the facts, stating obvious lies, and doing so with an authority that lent them undue credence.
EDIT: And I don’t say the above as an Obama fanboy, but as someone who noticed more than two dozen times when McCain stated something that has been either been completely debunked or was an outright...

Here’s what you need to ask yourself this election.
“After 8 years of a party in charge, am I better off right now than I was when they took office and their sphere of influence began?”
If the answer is yes, then you vote for the continued leadershiop of a member of that sphere.
If not, then you vote for a leadership change.
Is it perhaps overly simplistic? Absolutely, but...
