On an L. A. Sidewalk. Never seen that before. It seems the city likes to trap bees under orange cones and then warn you about it.
I know a girl who was deathly afraid of spiders, and used to trap them underneath cups and then wait for someone else in her family to come dispose of the creature.
This habit became second nature: spider, eek, cup, wait long enough and someone else takes care of the problem.
This led to much hilarity once she moved to college and, without thinking that her roommates wouldn’t understand the now-very-commonplace-in-her-world signal, continued the habit.
From what I understand, there was much screaming about “the worst trick ever” and “why would you hide a spider in the bathroom under my post-brushing rinsing cup?”
