mikehudack: ericmortensen: Enjoy it America.  This is what you get instead of universal health care. Really? We don’t get universal health care because we build amphibious assault ships? I don’t think that’s fair. Not at all. While I disagree on the causality (and have my own personal opinions on the overall subject matter) I think it’s totally fair to point out that the military (and the private companies therein) have essentially blank checks - regardless of the effectiveness of the results, while attempts to change the landscape of health care are met with arguments of cost.
