This is probably one of the more intimidating things I’ve ever done, so if it comes off as vain, I apologize. I don’t really post photos of myself for a variety of reasons, but as I’m using this as positive reinforcement, I’m making an exception today.
Two months ago I started an experiment aimed at getting myself healthy again. My job is fairly sedentary, and the effects were showing. I wanted to make a major shift, so I drastically changed the way I ate, and started going back to the gym. I posted about the progress I was making back in March, and in the interest of continuing to motivate myself I’m posting the following photos and statistics below.
February 16th - 172Lbs:
March 8th - 163Lbs:
April 16th - 155Lbs (my goal weight):
So we’re making progress in the right direction. I hit my goal of 155Lbs, which was a huge day for me. I hadn’t been 155 since high school. Not bad for changing your diet and working out twice a week. For the next steps, I’ll be setting a new goal and adding two more days of workouts into the schedule in order to meet them; most likely another day of weights and a day of cardio of some fashion (soccer, biking, windsprints, etc.)
I might post pics in another couple months to show how any additional goals are coming, but for now, I’m damn happy with the results so far.
Now I just need to get a tan ;)
